Follow these easy steps to get your AEG LAVATHERM 33600 Dryer up and running in no time.
Before using the AEG LAVATHERM 33600 Dryer, thoroughly read the safety instructions provided in the operating manual. This ensures proper understanding and safe operation of the appliance.
Position the dryer on a flat, stable surface. If placed on a carpeted floor, adjust the feet to allow for proper air circulation. Ensure the dryer is level for optimal performance.
Connect the vent hose to expel hot, moist air. The vent hose should be 100 mm in diameter and no longer than 4 meters. Ensure it is not squashed or blocked, as this can affect drying efficiency.
Ensure any electrical work required for installation is performed by a qualified electrician or competent person. The appliance should have its own dedicated power supply.
Before using the dryer for the first time, wipe the drum with a moist cloth to remove any residues from manufacturing.
Prepare the laundry by closing zip fasteners, buttoning up bed linen and pillow cases, and tying together loose tapes. Load the laundry into the dryer, ensuring not to exceed the maximum load specified for the chosen program.
Select the appropriate drying program using the program selector on the control panel. Refer to the program tables for guidance on the type and amount of laundry.
For delicate fabrics, press the SPECIAL CARE button. This reduces the heat for gentle drying, particularly suitable for heat-sensitive materials like acrylic and viscose.
Close the door securely and press the START button to begin the drying program. You can pause the program to add or remove laundry if necessary.
After the drying cycle, a cooling phase will start. Once complete, remove the laundry promptly to prevent creasing.
After each drying program, clean the fluff filter to maintain efficiency. Remove any remnants or fluff from the drum immediately.
Turn the program selector to the OFF position to switch off the dryer after use.
